Stanford BioLaw was founded in the Fall of 2002 with the primary goal of promoting discourse on the myriad legal and policy issues surrounding biotechnology. A secondary goal will be to inform the student body at Stanford about career opportunities at the interface of biotechnology and the law. Stanford BioLaw comprises students from Stanford Law School and Graduate Programs related to biology. BioLaw receives its funding from the Office of Student Affairs at the Stanford Law School.
