SNPs
Stanford BioLaw is pleased to announce that February of 2004 will mark the launch of its newsletter, "Stanford BioLaw SNPs." The newsletter, named after the acronym for single nucleotide polymorphisms (pronounced "snips"), will draw from a wide variety of sources to offer readers a summary of major developments at the interface of law and biotechnology. The SNPs team, under the leadership of managing editor Seema Shah (Class of '05), will scour newspapers, court decisions, non-government organization publications, government reports, bioethics articles, and science journals in search of important changes in the legal and political landscape surrounding biotechnology. This link will provide access to the newsletter starting in March of 2004.
